We reckon church at its best is the most vibrant life giving community you can be part of. We like to think that blueprint is a place where people find grace, wholeness, hope, a sense of family, and, more than anything else, is a community where Jesus can be found. Simply, we’re incredibly passionate about building the Kingdom of God.
Blueprints mission; to be a community that is looking IN, UP & OUT
We are looking UP: expressions of worship, contemplation, prayer, adoration, seeking direction from God.
We are looking INWARD: growing in wholeness, experiencing grace, receiving teaching, growing in discipleship.
We are looking OUTWARD: mission, service, justice, caring and engaging with the poor; building the Kingdom in our workplaces, homes and communities.

In 2003 a group of young people attending the Rock City Church started meeting together on a weekly basis. The intention was to start a service that catered to 18-25 year olds. By 2004 it became apparent that “Blueprint” needed to be its own church, and needed a location in the central city to meet. So in 2005 Blueprint moved to Global Cafe on Garret St, along with it’s older sister ministry, Zeal. Now four years on, we’re cranking along as never before. Here are some happenings to look out for in ’09...
Prayer – Every three months we hold a prayer weekend, where Global Cafe becomes a 24/7 house of prayer and worship. We see this as a key way of expressing our desire to seek God. “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Ch 7:14).
People (Poverty) – Practical serving projects where we seek to bless people with no other agenda, fundraisers where we spend a day raising funds for a cause, or initiatives that serve a particular group in the city. “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” (Mat 25:40)
Parties –In a world that is filled with hopelessness and despair, where a good party looks like getting completely wasted, it is time we recovered the art of celebrating life, with parties that are healthy, memorable, and honour God. “This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORD—a lasting ordinance.” (Exo 12:14 )
