The album was a chance to record four songs that had been written within our communities. They started as prayers, then riffs, then songs: they express a wrestling with and a longing to respond to God’s love in our neighourhoods and to look to God for redemptive work in the face of huge challenges faced by our planet and our church and our own hears. It marked the beginning of a new season of church planting in our Renew Communities movement. This album is about the reconciliation that Christ brings in every sphere of our lives and our world. Reconciliation between us and God, between old and new, and between peoples in Aotearoa.
